First Week of School

Well I had a very busy week. I spent last Friday night with Nana and DD while mom and dad enjoyed a dinner date. Mom came to get me Saturday but she didn't stay home long. Grandma Hern passed away so I got to stay with Nana some more. Finally I came home Sat night and Sunday. I stayed with Nana again on Monday night while mom and dad were at the funeral home. Tuesday was my first day of preschool. I cried a little but had a good time. We are studying dinosaurs so I really like that. Thursday less tears were shed and now I will talk about school. Mom asked me Wed. night if I was going to school tom. and I kept telling her no so she was worried about how Thurs. would go but it is better. I made a dinosaur with maccaroni but I have not gotten to bring it home yet. We will see what next Tuesday brings.

New School Year

Well I am back at daycare everyday since mom had to go back to work. I think she likes her new job but she is tired a lot more now. I get to meet my preschool teacher this morning. I am not really sure who it is or what it is but Nana and I are going to meet her this morning. I get to start to school next week. I am excited about my new Thomas the Train bookbag I will get to take. Lately I have been learning a lot of new words because I love to ask "What's This." Then I repeat whatever the answer is. Well I think that is all that has been going on. I will update you about preschool after my first day on Tues.

Here, There, and Everywhere

Wow! I had a busy week. Monday Ms. Clara was sick so mom kept Walker and I at home. We played choo, choos all day. Then when Walker left mom got a call that Grandma Hern was not doing well so she took me to DD. We rode tractors, lawn mowers, and fofo (4-wheelers). Then he let me play monster trucks on the computer. Mom got back home at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday Mrs. Clara was better so I went to play but mom did not pick me up. I got to go home with Walker. We played more choo choo's at Walker's house. Mom was really late that night and picked me up at 10:30. Wednesday I played at Clara's and mom actually picked me up and took me home. I got to see her and play with her. I still did not see Daddy until Thursday night. Friday morning I went to play tractors with Nana at 6 am because it was mom's day to sit with Grandma at the hospital. Nana and I surprised mom with Rotessiere chicken when she came to pick me up Friday night. Daddy spent the night with Grandma so I haven't seen him in a while. I know mom and dad have been busy trying to visit and help with Grandma but I have enjoyed getting to play at DD and Nana's and Walker's house. I want to go feed Grandma some more chips but mom says not right now! Hope you feel better Grandma!

2 year old checkup

Well I started the day at Dr. Weiland's office for my 2 year old check up. She confirmed I am a healthy boy. I weigh 33 pounds and I am 3 feet 1 inch tall. She was happy to hear I like to eat anything and I drink milk but not whole milk. I had to get a shot which I did not like and it was the first shot I have gotten in my arm. It was for pneumonia and ear aches and something else. I got the shot when it prevented 7 strands of the virus but the new one prevents 13 strands so she wanted me to have the updated version. She commented on my big feet and told mom to prepare to buy big shoes (size 11 or 12) by the time I am full grown. She will guess my full grown height when I am 3 but if I continue growing as I have been she is predicting 6 feet 2 inches. She will also tell mom the age at which she will have to start looking up to me. I don't think she is ready for this and she has a while before it happens. Well at least I do not go back until I am 3 so that is wonderful.

Summer Time

I love summer time! This year I am not scared of the swimming pool. Mom and Dad took me to JellyStone Park in Pelahatchie last week so I could enjoy the splash pool and swimming pool. We had a really good time. I slept the whole way home. Then I got to go to a swimming birthday party. I have enjoyed my pool at home and daycare. Swimming is so much fun. I am also enjoying summertime food like squash, strawberries, watermelon, and popsicles. It is a hot but fun time of year! I really like it because I get to stay home with my mom on Mon.,Wed., and Fri. We like playing outside and inside all day long.
